Adoro la Francia, in particolare Parigi.
Credo sia una delle città più belle del mondo; ogni volta che ci ritorno, mi stupisce, mi affascina, mi attira a sé come una calamita dalla quale non si può fuggire.
E’ una città profonda, immensa.. amo Parigi e il suo cinema dallo stile così raffinato; amo stare seduta a leggere in un bar del centro storico e assaporare ogni più piccolo particolare della città; amo la moda parigina, il suo essere così semplice, ma allo stesso tempo così tremendamente chic.
La moda a Parigi raggiunge la sua massima espressione, ne raccoglie le proprie radici e le trasporta oltre i confini. Nonostante la rivalità e la competizione di altre grandi capitali europee, come Londra e Milano, e la stessa New York, a Parigi la moda è tutta un’altra cosa. Qui hanno mosso i primi passi le più grandi firme della moda internazionale, quelle del prêt a porter e delle sfilate dell’alta moda. Nomi come Chanel, Gaultier, e tanti altri, hanno trovato a Parigi il proprio modo d’essere. Hanno tratto ispirazione dai suoi colori, quelli caldi di Montmartre o del Quartiere Latino, quelli più spirituali della Parigi letteraria o quelli che lega Parigi e il cinema.
Madeleine Vionnet, ad esempio, una delle più grandi stiliste francesi, aprì la propria casa d’alta moda nel 1912, dando il via ad una completa rivoluzione nel mondo degli stilisti. Da Vionnet a Coco Chanel, colei che negli stessi anni rivoluzionò lo spirito femminile della donna. Non si tralasciano altri grandi stilisti come Pual Poiret, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Cardin, o anche il famoso coccodrillo di René Lacoste, la cui casa d’abbigliamento venne fondata nel 1933. Grandi nomi che trovarono in Parigi la musa ispiratrice della propria arte.
Per concludere, lì, tutto fa moda; il Carrousel du Louvre ben quattro volte l’anno preannuncia i colori sgargianti di quelle che saranno le collezioni delle prossime stagioni, comunicando al mondo intero cosa portare (e come portare) nelle strade della città. La capitale dell’eleganza non si sente affatto minacciata da nessuno, pronta a creare sempre nuove tendenze e nomi d’alta moda.
